Hundreds of Kilometers of ATV Trails

Sportsman's Lodge Wilderness Resort offers access to hundreds of kilometres of marked and mapped trails for exciting ATVing. We have worked tirelessly over the years to continue to clear and maintain over 700 kms of ATV trails in and around the lodge. Between clearing out the old logging roads, and new logging cuts each year, the trail system continues to grow!

ATV Trails for all Levels of Riders

The ATV terrain around Kukagami varies and is suitable for all riders, from beginners to advanced.

For beginner riders, or those who just want to take it easy, take a ride on the old rail bed and discover some of the off-shoot trails you’ll find along the way. We can recommend other trails that are suitable for beginners and provide you with trail maps to help keep you on track.

If you’re looking to take a longer trek, try a full day ride around Lake Wanapitei. Let us know if you want to have a lunch packed up and ready for you…we can make that happen!

Riders who like a challenge really enjoy taking a go at the Goat Trail. This loop isn’t for beginners, experienced riders will even find this one tough and will feel it in their muscles at the end of the day.

The land here also offers some fantastic bush riding, and down in the dirt mud riding.

ATV Sightseeing

While you’re out riding, don’t forget to keep your eyes open to the beauty that the north has to offer. One of the most spectacular views can be seen from the top of Wolf Mountain. Ride the 210 km Chiniguchi Wolf Loop and take a trek to the scenic lookout at the top of the mountain. You’ll experience views of beautiful old growth forests with trees over 200 years old.

You should also visit one of Northern Ontario’s hidden treasures, Paradise Lagoon. It’s just a 40-minute quad ride and a quick stroll away…don’t forget to bring your suit, it’s a great spot to swim and cool down on a warm summer’s day. With crisp cool waters and multiple waterfalls, the lagoon really is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Taking up ATV riding is a great way to experience the outdoors, and you’ll meet so many new and interesting people who share the same passion for the thrill of the ride. The ATV community are a friendly group and are always willing to chat or lend a hand to a rider who needs some help.

Interested in a Friday and Saturday, 4 couples, ATV weekend .

Not sure when. Will must of the trails accommodate a side x side ?

What is the deal with COVID -19 ?

I was there years ago when Dave Looney was running it , we had a great time .

Hi there! Am interested in renting Atv for a camping trips near wolf lake & visit lgoon pradise. Could i rent for a couple day? Or it's one day service only
