We’ve been doing this for well over 30 years and we’ve always referred to it as “Sportsmans Weekend”. So you can see why Im reaching out to you folks.:) Can you provide us with a quick review of the fishing and hunting available there? When I say hunting, Im referring more to small game like grouse or rabbit. We would be interested in renting a separate cabin from the lodge if available and be bringing our own boats. Cheers! 2/16/2022 11:03 AM Reply to Neil Ireland Hello, We have planned a backcountry trip that we will be staying on Matamagasi Lake primarily with some options for day trips etc...We have one canoe but would like to rent another and possibly a kayak. We are a family of five with three teenaged kids and are quite experienced back country campers. Our travel dates for the trip are August 25-29th. We are also hopeful you might have an available accommodation for the night of August 24th as well, but understand if we are late planning that. Thank you and I look forward to your feedback. 7/19/2022 1:05 PM Reply to Louie Looking for go on fishing trip for my dads 60 th birthday like the big cottage you have there was wondering the availability in September is and how is the fishing on this lake not many pictures of the fishing 3/24/2024 1:47 PM Reply to Leave a comment Name: Please enter a name.
